You Should Already Be Planning Your Euro Summer

The most meaningful trips require six months of lead time (or more!!!) to secure the best accommodations, at the best rates, during your ideal dates… especially for luxury and high demand destinations like Europe in summer.
Planning early means better options, better value, and a more personalized journey.

GREECE: Milos, Sifnos, Paros, Athens
ITALY: Amalfi Coast, Lake Como, Tuscany, Dolomites
FRANCE: Provence, South of France, Paris, French Alps
SPAIN: Mallorca, Ibiza, Madrid, Marbella
PORTUGAL: Lisbon, Porto, Douro Valley, Comporta
Some things to keep in mind:
If you are flexible with dates (aka don’t have to book during your kids summer break), take advantage of “shoulder” months like May & September that typically see less tourists & milder climates.
Many properties in Europe occupy old buildings, and therefore don’t have standard room categories or connecting rooms the way US hotels are built. If you have specific needs, make sure you let us know that ahead of time.
Be open to less traveled destinations. Many times if you let us know what you’re looking for, we can find you a location ‘dupe’. Instead of Santorini, consider Sifnos. Instead of Amalfi, consider Forte di Marmi or Puglia.
During peak dates, many properties actually have night minimums. Always inquire with me as advisors often get exceptions ;)
Trips that need 12+ months of planning!
Bucketlist Destinations: African safaris, cherry blossoms in Japan, Antartica expeditions, all require longer planning windows.
Group Trips: Milestone celebrations or multi-generation family travel require lots of details to have the smoothest experience.
Peak Dates: Spring Break, Summer Holidays, Thanksgiving or Holidays (Mid-Dec to New Years)
